Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Studock, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not accept these terms, you may not use the service. Studock reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

2. Service description

Studock is an online document editing and collaboration platform that allows the creation, sharing, and management of documents. The service is available in a free version and a Premium version.

3. User account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• You agree to provide accurate information when registering.
• Only one account per person is permitted.
• Studock may suspend or delete an account in case of violation of these terms.

4. Content ownership

You retain intellectual property ownership of all documents and content you create on Studock. By using the platform, you grant Studock a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence solely to provide the service (storage, rendering, real-time collaboration).

5. Prohibited uses

You may not use Studock to:

• Publish or share illegal, defamatory, hateful, obscene content, or content that infringes others' rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated scripts without prior written permission.
• Infringe intellectual property rights.
• Distribute malware or malicious content.

6. Premium subscription

• Premium subscription is billed at the pricing in effect at the time of subscription.
• Payment is processed securely via Stripe.
• The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Under European law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal after subscribing.
• Upon cancellation, your Premium access remains active until the end of the paid period.

7. Limitation of liability

Studock provides the service "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Studock shall not be liable for data loss, service interruptions, or indirect damages resulting from use or inability to use the service. Studock makes every effort to ensure service availability (99% uptime target) but does not guarantee uninterrupted service.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your settings. Studock may terminate your access immediately in the event of a serious breach of these terms. After termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the competent courts will be those of the Paris jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
